Sequins and quirky critters. Two of my all time favorite things. You would think I would love a marriage of them, especially on a J. Crew piece. Sadly, the Sequin Rhino Sweatshirt really missed the mark for me. The depiction is a little too realistic and gives me visions of cutoff t’s depicting bald eagles or coyotes that you see bikers wearing in the movies. Also, hi…what is going on with the turtleneck? I’ll forgive you though, Crew, because you rarely have such missteps. Just don’t let it happen again.
I do, however, support many of the other pieces adorned with animals that seem to be popping up everywhere this fall.
LOL! I thought the same thing! This was SO strange on. I’m not sure what was going on with the short torso tops this season. I also didn’t care much for the signature tee either…
